It was very much like any other day: she went to school early, spent 3 hours waiting for her first class, slept in class, and went home late. All in the hopes of forgetting...
It was already dark when she got to the village. She didn't have any spare change so she decided to walk to their house. Fifteen minutes of walking wouldn't kill her. She clasped the straps of her guitar case and sang while walking.
Araw ay sisikat din, magwawakas din ang dilim...
Five minutes. She suddenly had a strange feeling somebody was following her. She heard footsteps. The footsteps stopped when she looked behind her. But she heard a male voice... singing.
Liwanag ay masisilayan din. Bukas ay salubungin.
Her heart raced. She recognized the voice. Ten minutes. She walked hurriedly and tried to ignore the footsteps and the voice. Fifteen minutes. She was in front of their house. She took out her keys and looked behind her. Nobody was there.
Araw ay sisikat din, magwawakas din ang dilim.
Liwanag ay masisilayan din, bukas ay salubungin.
The voice was still there. He used to sing that song for her.
