She closed her door and went back to bed. She didn't sleep. She just cried quietly as she remembered the things she's been through. She closed her eyes and tried to fight back the tears. Failing miserably, she just hugged her teddy bear and waited for the Sandman to come and get her. Her phone caught her attention as it vibrated incessantly. Her new found friend was calling her up at 1 am. She answered the phone trying to sound happy.
"Hey."
"Wow. You're still up. Gawa mo?"
"Eto yakap yakap lang bear ko." For some reason her voice trailed off and once again, she cried. She tried to disguise her voice and told him that she'll go to sleep.
She cried until she finally fell asleep. Her love for someone who wasn't there would never help her. She woke up the following morning to the sound of her phone's alarm. There was one unread message.
"I hope you're okay. Sana ako na lang bear mo."
KYAHAHAHAHAHA
